This work aims to achieve the parameters of shear resistance of sand itself and the interfacial behaviour of sand against an interface. For that tests were perform in the direct shear box and the results are discussed and compared. In this work we represent graphics that justify and show the reliability of results. For that we propose to study three diferent granulometric fractions of sand, and their behavior cut against an interface. We choose to study the sand in the loose and dense state. For tests with interfaces, we choose only to test in the dense state. The materials used in this work for the interfaces was the steel and the concrete. The lower part of the shearbox is replaced by these interfaces. This work is presented in six parts, the introduction, the concepts of shear behaviour tand the studys performed so far related with the present work, the laboratory work, the discussion of results and conclusion. |
