Análise do Património Geológico e Potencial Geoturístico da Faixa Costeira entre o Rio Tapado e a Restinga do Lobito (Angola)

Abstract

A presente obra reporta à análise do património geológico e do potencial geoturístico da faixa costeira entre o rio Tapado e a Restinga do Lobito (Angola), na perspectiva de apresentar, criteriosamente, um inventário dos geossítios mais relevantes da região. Nesta, estão definidos objectivos pertinentes que visam, além de catalogar os referidos geossítios, a sua valorização passível de aproveitamento como recurso educativo e turístico e a possibilidade de inseri-los na rede dos atractivos naturais de Angola. Assim, enquadra-se o estudo da temática em causa no âmbito da promoção do ordenamento do território. Em primeira instância apresenta-se no capítulo I uma introdução mais abrangente, na qual se define a área de estudo, os parâmetros de enquadramento, sobretudo no contexto geológico regional e local e as metodologias aplicadas. Dada a natureza do trabalho faz-se de seguida uma abordagem teórica relativa aos temas afins ao património geológico e à realidade angolana (capítulo II), bem como a outros atributos do espaço físico da área de estudo (capítulo III). No capítulo IV apresenta-se uma caracterização geológica e estratigráfica da área de estudo, que dá o suporte científico ao reconhecimento dos diversos geossítios propostos, bem como à sua caracterização (capítulo V), baseada em fichas de inventariação apresentadas em anexo. Apresenta-se, igualmente, uma abordagem referente às possibilidades de valorização do património geológico seguida da possibilidade do geoturismo e outros itens subsequentes do género (capítulo VI). Finalmente, tecem-se as considerações finais, onde se faz um balanço do estudo da presente temática.

This work reports the analysis of geology, geological heritage and potential geotouristic of the coastal area between the Tapado River and the Lobito Spit, located in the Lobito region (Angola) with a view to present judiciously an inventory of the most important geosites. In this context, are set relevant targets to, in addition to cataloging these geosites, its value likely to use as an educational and tourism resource and the possibility of inserting them in the network of natural attractions of Angola. Thus, fits the study of the subject studied in the promotion of regional planning. In the first instance is presented in Chapter I a more comprehensive introduction, which sets the study area, the framework parameters, especially at regional and local geological context and the methodologies applied. Given the nature of the work is done then a theoretical approach on related topics to the geological heritage and the Angolan reality (Chapter II), and the other attributes of the physical space of the study area (Chapter III). Chapter IV presents a geological and stratigraphic characterization of the study area, giving scientific support to the recognition of the various proposed geosites and its characterization (Chapter V), based on inventory sheets attached. It presents also an approach related to the recovery possibilities of geological then the possibility of geotourism and other subsequent gender items (Chapter VI). Finally, weave the final considerations, which take a reflection about the theme developed.
