Agregados Monoparentais Vítimas de Violência Doméstica: Intervenção na Comunidade de Inserção Renascer

Abstract

Com o presente trabalho apresentam-se as atividades desenvolvidas no âmbito do estágio curricular do curso de Mestrado em Ciências da Educação da Faculdade de Psicologia e Ciências da Educação da Universidade de Coimbra. O contexto institucional deste estudo foi o Comunidade de Inserção Renascer da Cáritas Diocesana de Coimbra e as suas residentes vítimas de Violência Doméstica, no período de estágio que decorreu entre 30 de outubro de 2017 a 29 de junho de 2018.Do ponto de vista do enquadramento teórico começou por se caracterizar conceptualmente a Violência, em particular a Violência Contra a Mulher, a Violência de Género, a Violência nas Relações Íntimas e Violência Doméstica.Ao ganhar progressivamente um foco na vida doméstica o trabalho escrutina a parentalidade, os reflexos na parentalidade da Violência Doméstica e o impacto desta no desenvolvimento saudável da criança.A Comunidade de Inserção Renascer acolhe essencialmente vítimas de Violência Doméstica que trazem consigo histórias pessoais em que se retratam as noções, os paradoxos e as incertezas assinalados no enquadramento teórico da Violência Doméstica. Estas mulheres mães exemplificam vivencialmente os diversos tipos de violência, a sua articulação com os estereótipos de género, a exclusão social daí decorrente e ainda crises da parentalidade que surgem nas suas vidas como fruto das agressões ou separações.Apresentam-se as atividades do estágio, nomeadamente as que havia em curso na instituição, tendo-se promovido uma Oficina Parental em que foi possível testar algumas hipóteses sobre o brincar, além de metodologias e técnicas que os técnicos devem ter presente nas suas intervenções junto deste tipo de público, adaptando algumas propostas da serie de programas dos Incredible Years, em particular o Toddlers Parenting Program.Este estágio teve uma componente prática muito vincada com atividades de intervenção junto destas mulheres, desde Segurança Infantil, a importância do Brincar, a construção de materiais lúdico-didáticos, promoção da leitura e espaço de relaxamento.

This report presents the activities developed during the curricular internship of the Master’s degree in Education Sciences by the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Coimbra. The institutional context of this study was the Renascer Integration Community of Cáritas Diocesana de Coimbra and its resident victims of Domestic Violence during the period of training that took place between October 30th, 2017 and June 29th, 2018.From the point of view of the theoretical framework, Violence Against Women, Gender Violence, Intimate Relationships and Domestic Violence began to be conceptually characterized.By gradually gaining a focus on domestic life, work scrutinizes parenting, reflections on parenting of Domestic Violence, and its impact on the child's healthy development.The Renascer Integration Community essentially hosts victims of Domestic Violence who bring with them personal stories that portray the notions, paradoxes and uncertainties highlighted in the theoretical framework of Domestic Violence. These mothers exemplify the various types of violence, their articulation with gender stereotypes, the resulting social exclusion and crises of parenthood that arise in their lives as a result of aggression or separation.This report includes the ongoing activities at the institution and a Parental Workshop in which it was possible to test some hypotheses about playing, as well as methodologies and techniques that technicians should keep in mind when intervening with this type of audience, adapting some proposals from the Incredible Years series of programs, in particular the Toddlers Parenting Program.The internship had a very strong practical component with intervention activities among these women, from Children's Safety, the importance of Play, the construction of play-didactic materials, promotion of reading and relaxation space.
