The Anthropocene concept, indicating the current age of climate change, has been elaborated within the natural sciences, although it has an eminently historical meaning. Due to its tendency to orientate global climate politics, the concept deserves a critical scrutiny. The article offers a radical critique of the Anthropocene narrative, revealing its gender, class, and neo-colonial connotations.
