Parâmetros magnéticos versus teores de elementos seleccionados em folhas de Nerium oleander e solos da cidade de Viseu, Portugal central

Abstract

A relação entre os parâmetros magnéticos e os teores de elementos seleccionados (Fe, Mn, Zn, Pb, Cu e Cr) em folhas de Nerium oleander L. e solos da cidade de Viseu constitui o objectivo fundamental deste trabalho. Nos solos a susceptibilidade magnética é indicadora da concentração em Fe, Cu e Mn. Nas folhas os parâmetros magnéticos são indicadores da concentração em Fe, Cu, Pb e Zn, sugerindo uma contribuição antrópica para estes elementos.

The main purpose of this study is to relate magnetic parameters and concentration of selected elements (Fe, Mn, Zn, Pb, Cu, and Cr) in Nerium oleander L. leaves and soils in the urban area of Viseu. The magnetic susceptibility of soils samples is a proxy of the Fe, Cu, and Mn contents. The magnetic parameters of plant leaves are proxies of the Fe, Cu, Pb, and Zn contents, suggesting an anthropogenic contribution. The magnetic parameters and elements concentration indicate that Fe, Zn, Pb, and Cu are related to anthropogenic contribution.
