Biography
Verónica Ferreira holds a PhD in 'Discourses: History, Culture and Society' from the University of Coimbra granted by the ERC Project "CROME. Crossed Memories, Politics of Silence. The Colonial-Liberation Wars in Postcolonial Times" (ERC-2016-StG-715593). She has a BA in Political Science and International Relations and a MA in International Relations from NOVA University of Lisbon. She also has a postgraduate degree in Strategic and Security Studies from IDN/NOVA FCSH and is attending a postgraduate course in Management and Policies of Science and Technology at the same institution. Her current research interests focus on political and media representations; gender studies; decolonial studies; discourses on violence; digital memories; critical discourse analysis; critical internet studies; and education policies. At the moment she is a research assistant at CIPES, University of Aveiro in the project "DocParks. Doctoral Education in Science and Technology Parks" (EDULOG - Fundação Belmiro de Azevedo).
