Description

Abstract
O CEMMPRE é uma unidade I&D que conta com 74 investigadores integrados com doutoramento, 63 sem doutoramento e 25 colaboradores, que desenvolvem trabalho em investigação fundamental e aplicada nas áreas de Engenharia Mecânica e de Materiais, bem como outras relacionadas com inovação industrial, robotização e transformação da produção. A sua investigação está alinhada com o RIS3 da região centro de Portugal, Horizonte 2020 e Agenda 2030 da ONU para um Desenvolvimento Sustentado. O CEMMPRE está organizado em dois grupos de investigação: Mecânica e Produção Inteligente, e Materiais e Processos, os quais desenvolvem investigação científica nas áreas chave: Produção Inteligente, Desenvolvimento e Teste, Engenharia de Superfícies e Interfaces, Nanomateriais e Nanotecnologia, Bioengenharia, e Sistemas de Sensores Avançados. Os objetivos principais para os próximos 5 anos são: -Desenvolver investigação com impato regional, nacional e internacional e participar em infraestruturas e redes internacionais; -Aumentar o número de bolsas de investigação para estudantes e licenciados -Contribuir para o emprego científico altamente qualificado em Portugal; -Aumentar gradualmente os indicadores científicos até 2022 com disseminação baseada nos conceitos de acesso aberto, inovação aberta, e abertura ao mundo; -Criar, manter e partilhar infraestruturas científicas e equipamentos .
